Obama Abortioncare: The White Ribbon Campaign

Tomorrow, August 1, 2012, the mandate which funds abortion via tax payer dollars under Obamacare goes into effect.
The government has now found a way to force sin upon taxpayers across the country.
As a Christian, I believe God created life…and is, therefore, pro-life. Because I follow my God, who is the Christian God of the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, I can not in good conscience follow the law of man, and pay my taxes, knowing full well that the money is contributing to the murder of unborn innocents.
On the flip side is my dilemma: if I do not contribute, I risk going to prison, leaving my family behind.
I have decided that the best I can do is to render unto Caesar, and pray my guts out.
In the mean time, I will place a white ribbon around my trees, as a reminder to all who see them, in rememberance of the countless innocent lives that will be lost under the new mandate.
Will you join me?

Tea Party 2.0: Introducing the Gateway Grassroots Initiative!

Over the past two years and ten months, hundreds of thousands of people slowly began to wake up to the world around them.  Some were there from day one, others just opened their eyes yesterday. . .and everyone else fell somewhere in between.  The Tea Party had been born.

Many did not know who or what these people were about in the beginning.  The main-stream media had been caught off-guard, so responded the only way they knew how. . .they attacked it.  Within a few short months, what were once small gatherings of a few alert patriots, became full family affairs, with flags, signs, chants, and live entertainment for the masses.  Groups of thousands, prayed together, fellow-shipped and formed new relationships.  These people cleaned up after themselves, and then went home to tell their family and friends about it.  They got involved in their communities, became better-read, and talked unashamedly about issues they believed in.
The Tea Party has served it’s purpose, in the sense that we “got their attention”.  When it comes right down to it, the era of the rally is over.  Washington and State Capitols throughout the nation know we are here.   It is now time for Tea Party 2.0!  We are in the process of moving from attention-getting to the “Now what?” phase of the movement.
This is where the Gateway Grassroots Initiative comes in.  This organization, the first of it’s kind, is the answer to that question.  GGI is dedicated to the education, empowerment and enrichment of patriots in the central Midwest.  The organization, is simple and turn-key. . .something any Tea Party organization can model itself after, and that was by design by it’s founders.  GGI is about issues and actions, not about a particular candidate or race.
We are proud to have the support of so many of the key national leaders and Tea Party organizations in this endeavor.
Keep in mind that as we launch, the website will be ever-evolving.  We have so many cool things in store, but they need to roll out in natural progression.  You comments and suggestions are always welcome and appreciated.
We pledge to keep the spirit of the movement alive, and move forward with it’s evolution.  Please feel free to check out the site, sign up, and get involved.  Challenge yourself to an “Initiative” in the “TIPs” section and join us in the next phase of the Tea Party Movement!

Urgent: Action Needed Re: National Defense Authorization Act

Just hit my inbox:

There is a terrible travesty against Liberty about to happen in DC.  We need you to act today as early as possible.
The NDAA (National Defense Authorization Act) is moving fast and it contains a portion that authorizes the Detention of US Citizens on US soil by the US Military, what is worse is that they can be detained in interment camps indefinitely without due process.  We have an opportunity to have this Unconstitutional authorization taken out of the NDAA.
Please go to this Link and send this simple message to your Congressmen and Senators.  It is very simple to do.  I also urge all of you to reinforce this action with a call to you Congressmen and both Senators.  We must use every tool at our disposal to stop this!  Phone numbers for your Congressman and Senator can be found on under  the legislative contacts tab.
Thank you for standing once again for liberty!

Reminder: Next AfterParty this Thursday!

You can RSVP here!

Missouri Precinct Project will be joining us to  help educate and motivate conservatives across the State of Missouri to become more involved in the political process.

See you then!

The Afterparty: Occupy Bar Stools

I know, we are all excited about the Cardinals going to the World Series. Game 2 is set to begin at 7:05 pm CST on Thursday, October 20. . .as is The St Louis Tea Party Coalition’s Afterparty, Round Two.  Since tyranny does not rest in the excitement of baseball, we will continue with our plans to socially organize to Occupy Bar Stools at Helen Fitzgerald’s and enjoy the game there!

As you may recall, last month’s Afterparty was “Find Five People“.  This month, we challenge patriots to bring back their index cards with their list of five. . .or you can even bring them along if you would like.  The point here is to start spreading the word!

So, come on out, grab a bite, have a drink, and pull up a bar stool, and learn how we are going to continue our mission to take the country back, all while watching our beloved Cardinals defeat the Texas Rangers!  Bill Hennessy is a HUGE Cards fan, so I’m sure he’ll keep it short!

The 2012 Game Changer: Champion The Vote

Bill Dallas, CEO of United In Purpose, a non-partisan, non-profit organization whose mission is to actively advance the traditional values of America’s founding fathers, may have just introduced the St Louis Tea Party Coalition, and political activists everywhere the 2012 game change.  Dallas, along with COO of UiC Reid Rutherford, have recently launched Champion the Vote, a voter registration initiative.

According to the website, in 2008, the actual number of votes between candidates in the state of Missouri was 3,903 votes.  As well, during the same year, there were 102,522 unregistered conservative Christians in the state.  Champion the Vote is an initiative designed to identify those unregistered voters, right down to a very neighborhood, and get them registered to vote.

According to the Champion the Vote website, the “Champion for Change” issues are:

• Right to life
• Religious freedom
• Traditional marriage
• God and government
• Morality and ethics
• Voter registration
• Prayer in the public arena

The organization has created quite a buzz in Silicon Valley, which is experiencing it’s own insurgence of a growing socially conservative army, according to the LA Times.  Their premise is simple: Love God, Love Country…and talk to other Christians about the importance of voting.

On November 12, Champion the Vote will be presenting a 3 hour event, One Nation Under God, in which “Champions” and churches can host a house party and view a powerful presentation:

We are encouraging all Champions to sign up to host a One Nation Under God house party on November 12 for free. In this powerful 3-hour event, the truth about the Biblical foundation of our nation will be explored by spiritual, political, and educational leaders such as Dr. James Dobson, Bob McEwen, David Barton, and more!

So now it is time to do your civic duty.  Your duty to God, your duty to your Country. . .and for the future of our children and grandchildren.  Let’s rock the vote by finding the over 3,000,000 unregistered Christian voters.  Go to Champion the Vote and sign up now, and consider hosting a One Nation Under God event on November 12!
