The Tea Party Is Gateway Grassroots

Over the past week, there has been some disgruntled folks screaming bloody murder over the launch of Gateway Grassroots Initiative.  The chatter has been anywhere from “this is the rival tea party”. . .to which I say there are SO many organizations that are like-minded, they are not necessarily “rivals”, to “Dana Loesch started her own Tea Party”. . .to which, I can attest to, while Dana has been a part of the formation of this organization, she has gladly taken a well-deserved back seat in it.

The Gateway Grassroots Initiative is action-based, not candidate-based.  We are acting on issues, whether it be proposed legislation, or more personally relevant issues like C.E.R.T. training, survival training, and voter education.

As a brilliant friend and fellow patriot stated:

This is our mission. You can train people for caucuses, for precincts,
polling captains, etc but you will never change anything until you
change the hearts and minds of the people and reinforce it through
culture.

This is where the Tea Party is going.  It’s about Education, Empowerment, Enrichment.

For more information on the Gateway Grassroots Initiative, or to get involved and begin your own Individual Initiative, contact Jen@gatewaygrassroots or call 314-200-5860.

Tune is to Glenn Beck 10am CST today to hear more!

***Rockwood Alert*** Rockwood Stakeholders for Real Solutions Requests Missouri State Audit

Well, it’s about time somebody moved on this.

As the economy continues to tank, taxes continue to rise in Rockwood, and that money is being funneled directly into the Rockwood School Board, not the schools.  Teachers are continually receiving 3% pay increase per year, while more and more taxpayers are losing jobs.  The justification for that? And I quote “Because that’s they way we’ve always done it.”  Seriously? I’m not buying that answer, because things now are not as they always were.

So when I received this about ten minutes ago, I was tickled:

IMMEDIATE RELEASE – September 21, 2011

Rockwood Stakeholders for Real Solutions has sent a request to the Missouri State Auditors office to investigate the following stated in the email below.

RS for RS feels this is, at the minimum, an “appearance of impropriety” if not a blatant conflict of interest.

2. Mr. Smith is the President of the RSD Board of Education
3. Mr. Smith is the Vice President of the RSDEFA

On September 18th and 19th when RS for RS reached out to Glenn Construction for a meeting with James Glenn and Arthur Floyd, we were instructed by Steve Smith to provide him a list of our concerns and he would bring it to their attention.
Please advise as to the proper step to file a request for an investigation.Direct all questions and request for additional information to; Eileen Tyrrell, Co-Founder and Spokesperson @ 636-222-8305.Respectfully,

Concerned Patrons of Rockwood Announces First Meeting This Weekend

I received the following message which I thought worth passing along to other Rockwood School District residents.  The District has squandered tax-payer money long enough. . .while we remain helpless to do anything about it. . .NO MORE!  Here’s our chance!:

Dear Patron of Rockwood School District,

Please place the date of July 10th on your calendar of events to attend!  At 2:00PM on that Sunday afternoon there will be a meeting held to discuss the recent circumstances involving the Rockwood School District and the hiring practices used to bring on two new administrators.  A loosely knit organization, tentatively going by the name of Concerned Patrons of Rockwood (CPR), has been formed for the purpose of putting this event together.  The primary focus of the meeting will be to have a discourse on whether the status quo should be maintained as it relates to RSD employment practices or answer the question…is there a better method?  Please forward this message to all your friends, neighbors, and other taxpaying citizens of the Rockwood School District, notifying them of this gathering and let’s see if we can have an earnest dialogue on this topic.  Here are the particulars:

What?: Concerned Patrons of Rockwood (CPR) Meeting

When?: Sunday, July 10, 2011 @ 2:00PM

Where?: Hidden Valley Ski Resort Lodge 17409 Hidden Valley Dr Eureka, MO 63025

We hope to see you then!

Sincerely,

Dennis D. Broadbooks

I certainly plan to attend.  I hope to see you there!

Is It Any Wonder Our Kids Are Failing???

In response to a an email you’ll probably find resurfacing from Snopes (confirmed as “true” by the way) regarding bottle-bombs, blogger Chuck MacNab makes yet another great observation:

Could it be that this is just another result, among many, of the permissiveness that has been forced on our culture by liberals, especially since the 1960’s? Perhaps the liberal culture has so corrupted our children that it has confused many about the definition of criminal activity and ordinary people are no longer safe at home or at work? Certainly it has removed conscience and the awareness of ethical standards from the thought processes of many young people.

Schools, for instance, are no longer places where children are educated. Their most important function is to provide money from the community to pay for baby sitting services that are called “education.” The schools and many who work there have become spoiled brat examples of destructive activism designed to support an enhanced life-style. They have proven that they will withdraw their services and even fight in the streets to keep the power to strip communities of tax money and transfer it to themselves. They want to continue to elect school boards that vote to take advantage of low voter turnout to keep the money flowing “in the right direction.”

Citizens have only themselves to blame when they do not vote and allow these special interest groups (who do) to continue to raise taxes and transfer money to support a higher standard of living than most voters can now afford. With examples such as the screaming teachers in Wisconsin and their allies in big labor, what are children expected to learn as they observe examples of what is going on there and in their own neighborhoods? Maybe they are learning how to riot in the streets and, without a conscience, how to make cheap explosives that blow peoples fingers off? It’s time we started “connecting the dots” folks!

Rockwood Principal Resigns

Once again, my theory has proven correct.  Problematic Principal Dr. Tracy Edwards announced her resignation today at the year-end pep-rally at Kellison Elementary in Fenton, Missouri.  Edwards is, as I predicted, taking up a rather cushy administrative position at Northwest.
As seen in the years past, Edwards has turned a blind-eye on her students and their parents, while striving for State and Federal Award titles as a boost to her career.  With well-documented unresolved bullying issues in the school, combined with her absolute defiance to standing up for the students’ Constitutional Rights, such as fingerprinting without consent and her controversial “Run for Recess” program, one simply has to ask…how much more damage can she cause in an administrative roll, and how much more will it cost the taxpayers?
Even more disturbing, it seems her reign of horrors is rewarded by the DESE!

University of Missouri: What are Legislators To Do?

So, this story is like the Energizer Bunny.  It just keeps going, and going, and going. . . So, why aren’t our elected officials doing anything about it?  Beacause they think they can just play dumb!  Seriously, I just received a copy of a response from Missouri State Senator to a concerned citizen that read:

Ms. ______,

My name is ____ ____ and I am the Chief of Staff for Sen. ___ ____. The senator asked me to write to you in response to your email about certain courses being offered at the University of Missouri. I would recommend that the best course of action for concerned citizens would be to contact the Board of Curators for the University of Missouri System, the contact information for which I have included below. Regarding your request that we investigate a means to strip funding, the Senate had already passed the budget for Higher Education a week before we received your email, making this course of action impossible for the upcoming fiscal year.

Phone: (573) 882-2388
Facsimile: (573) 882-0010

Really??? Why the heck is the Senator also not a “concerned citizen”?  Is the Senator above it, or is this just a wishy-washy non-response?  This Senator in particular happens to be my Senator.  So the phones are about to get hot.

For the record, that last sentence by the COS is complete bullhonkey.  Lt. Governor Peter Kinder addressed both the House and Senate floors nearly 3 weeks ago on this issue (see below)

In the mean-time, here’s the latest on the story, and what you can do to ensure that we put a stop to the infiltration of communist indoctrination in our tax-dollar funded schools:

UMSL’s statement from yesterday
The video montages off the classes: http://insurgentvisuals.com/
Highlights of the videos: Tony Pecinovsky (MO/KS Communist Party leader) recruiting for the communist party IN THE CLASS and with the support of the professors.
* Both professors advocating fear and intimidation tactics and laughing about a ceo Giljum scared so bad he was in fear for his life. * Gleeful discussions of inciting riots and destroying police cars. * Gleeful discussions on HOW TO DESTROY NON-UNION BUSINESSES. Advocacy of violence as a strategic tactic.
Kinder, on The Dana Show expressing outrage.
And just incase you’re as fired up as I am about this, here are a few more people you might want to “enlighten” regarding this filth:
Here’s the Higher-Ed Committee website

Chairman: Mike Thompson
Chairman: David Pearce
